Sunny Side Up's Sustainability

All of our paper, card and stickers are FSC certified.

I hope you don't mind us saying but we also think they are beautiful. Which means we encourage you to reuse what you can and hope that they don't end up in the bin 

And if that's not your jam, that's ok, all materials in our packaging are recyclable.

We currently use Royal Mail for our delivery service as they are reported to have the lowest CO2 emissions per package when compaired to other services. We also feel that their ongoing commitment to reduce their emissions and their transparency on their practices and where they have room to improve.

We care about people, we believe in fair trade, that's why everything you see from us will be people first and human made!

It also means that we partner with UK people ensuring we're investing in local business and uplifting our communities.

Our Chocolate Makers

It shouldn't be any surprise that we want our chocolate makers to care for people and the planet like us. 

Our bare minimum criteria for chocolate makers:

Transparency

We will only work with suppliers who have clear sustainability information publically available. 

Planet

Their packaging must be easily recycled without putting the onus on the customer.

People

They must have strong ethics when it comes to people and be able to evidence this. This could be evidenced through certifications such as Fairtrade or The Rainforest Alliance.

But the reality is this is a starting point.

Most of our suppliers go above and beyond this.
